How to deduct payment fees from sales in Fiken

About payment fees
Payment solution providers (such as Vipps, Stripe, Paypal, etc.) deduct various fees when processing payments. Such fees should be accounted for, but unfortunately the order data from Shopify does not provide any information about the deducted payment fees.
For that reason, the integration is not able to automatically deduct the correct payment fees when transferring orders to Fiken.
As a workaround, we have added options to the workflow settings which will allow you to specify (for each payment provider) a fixed percentage of the order total (including VAT) to be calculated and set as the payment fee when the sale is transferred to Fiken.
Please note:
It is your responsibility to make sure that payment fee settings are correct and up to date. If a payment provider changes their fees, you must update the workflow settings yourself. The settings are not updated or verified by ConnectMyApps.
How to configure the payment fee settings:
1) Go to your workflow settings
Log into CloudManager.
Click the cogwheel icon on the workflow , and go to the Customization tab.
2) Create a mapping table
On this page you will find an option for creating a "mapping table" for payment fees:
Click the + icon to create a new line in the mapping table
Select the payment solution provider in the left column
Enter the percentage to be deducted as a fee.
(Do not enter a % sign, just the number. Please use a period . for decimals, i.e. "2.5" if you are charged a 2.5% fee.)

3) Check the results in Fiken
Please verify that the fees are deducted correctly in Fiken, and make adjustments in the workflow settings if needed. If a payment provider changes their fees in the future, you will have to change the workflow settings yourself to match.
The payment types used by your webshop may be different from the ones listed in the options for the mapping table. There might also be differences in spelling that will prevent a match between your orders and the entries in the table.
