Two-Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) provides an additional layer of verification for Canvas iPaaS users. 2FA is enabled for direct logins and can’t be turned off at the organization level.

When a user logs in with their Canvas credentials, they must enter their password and then verify their identity with a Third-party TOTP authenticator app.

Enable 2FA by the following steps:

Click on your user name in the top right corner and click Profile

Open

In the next menu click API & Security Settings and enable Two-Factor Authentication

Open

A window with a QR code will appear. Please scan this with your Third Party TOTP Authenticator App.

If you need to reset the Two-Factor, you can simply click Disabled and back to Enabled.
