Double click the "ConnectMyApps CloudConnector MSQL" icon on the desktop. A login screen will appear. You must enter your ConnectMyApps login licence email and the licence key as provided by ConnectMyApps support. If you have not received a licence key please contact support@connectmyapps.com.

Please note that the Connector only supports SQL Login and does not support Windows Authentication. You must ensure SQL Login support is activated on your MSQL instance.

NB: 

The integration requires to run stored procedure "Oko_UpdateBuntHode" with the SQL user. The roles "db_datawriter" and "db_datareader" need to be activated.

4. Register Application in Canvas

Finally you can return to your Canvas account and register MSSQL On-Premise as an application. Go to Applications/Add new application. Search for MSSQL on-premise and click Add. In the authentication screen enter the following:

  • ConnectMyApps CloudConnector key from step 2.

  • SQL login username and password from step 3.

  • SQL database name.

  • SQL server name , instance name and database(s) name.

  • and instance name. For example “.\SQLExpress” for a local instance.

It should be noted that the SQL server name is the same as what you see in the “Server name” when connected with Microsoft SQL Studio.
